The holidays are creeping up on us, aren’t they? Thanksgiving is a little early this year, and Winter Break will be here before you know it! So now is the time.

Move the yearbook link on the school’s web page. You can find the .jpeg and .png versions of the web link below on the Work the Plan CD found in Your 2013 kit. When people see the same Home Page over and over again, they become blind to it. Move your link somewhere new and prominent. Remind parents and students to buy a yearbook before the price goes up.

Rearrange your posters and banners. For example, if your banners have been hanging outside, move them inside, preferably somewhere between the front door where parents enter and the office. For those of you who go to school on a “clean campus” where your adminstrators allow posters and flyers only in designated places, allow me to make a suggestion. Hang your posters on the vending machines and in the bathrooms. Yep, that’s how the staff at John Champe HS got around the principal’s “clean campus” rule. Ingenious!
